JetStreamClean Limited (Company No. 17049135) provides professional carpet cleaning in Romford and upholstery cleaning services across London and Essex. By booking our services, paying a deposit, or allowing work to commence, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full.
1. Scope of Services
We offer a comprehensive range of professional cleaning services, including:
- Carpet cleaning
- Upholstery cleaning
- Sofa cleaning
- Mattress cleaning
- Stain treatment
- Odour neutralisation
- Commercial carpet cleaning
- End of tenancy carpet cleaning
All work is carried out using commercial-grade equipment. Our process includes HEPA vacuuming, fibre-appropriate pre-treatment, agitation and hot water extraction to deliver deep, thorough results.
2. Pricing Structure & Room Size Definitions
Pricing is based on standard room sizes as follows:
- Bedroom — up to 12 m²
- Living room — up to 16 m²
- Hallways — up to 10 m²
- Stairs — up to 13 steps
Larger rooms, heavy soiling, specialist fibres or restoration-level cleaning may incur additional charges, which will be communicated before work begins.
3. Minimum Booking Charge
A minimum service charge of £120 applies to all residential and commercial visits. This covers travel, setup, specialist equipment, labour, materials, insurance and operational costs.
Where the total value of services requested is below £120, the minimum charge applies. The minimum charge also remains payable where:
- Access is not provided at the scheduled time
- The client cancels within 24 hours of the appointment
- Rooms are not adequately prepared
- Scope of work is reduced upon arrival
- Site conditions prevent work from proceeding
4. Deposits
For bookings over £150, end-of-tenancy services or commercial work, a 20–30% deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Deposits become non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment date.
5. Deposit Payment Process
Where a deposit is required, JetStreamClean Limited will issue written confirmation of the booking together with the relevant payment instructions.
Bank transfer details will be provided directly by JetStreamClean Limited via official communication channels (company email or verified messaging).
The Client is responsible for ensuring payment is made to the correct account details as supplied.
JetStreamClean Limited will never request deposit payments via third-party intermediaries, personal accounts, or unofficial payment channels.
A booking is not confirmed until cleared funds have been received in the designated business account.
Failure to make payment within the agreed timeframe may result in the appointment being released without further notice.
Proof of payment may be requested where transfer timing affects scheduling.
6. Payment Terms
Residential clients: Payment is due in full upon completion of services.
Commercial clients: 7–14 day invoice terms are available, subject to prior approval.
Late commercial payments will incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum, plus reasonable recovery costs.
7. Results & Service Limitations
JetStreamClean Limited delivers services in accordance with recognised professional cleaning standards and documented operating procedures.
However, cleaning results are dependent on factors including fibre type, age, installation quality, pre-existing wear, staining substances and previous treatments.
Stain removal, odour elimination and full restoration of appearance cannot be guaranteed.
Permanent staining, dye loss, fibre distortion, wear shading, traffic lane damage, shrinkage, or other pre-existing conditions may remain visible following treatment.
JetStreamClean Limited shall not be held responsible for issues arising from pre-existing damage, undisclosed defects, prior cleaning attempts, or inherent manufacturing faults.
Where limitations are identified during inspection, these will be communicated prior to or during service delivery.
8. Access & Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide safe, clear access to the areas requiring cleaning, along with running water, electricity and suitable parking nearby. All valuables, fragile items and personal belongings should be removed from the work area prior to our arrival.
9. Property Access & Unattended Services
JetStreamClean Limited may carry out services in properties where the client is not present, including end of tenancy, landlord, commercial or pre-arranged residential appointments.
By authorising unattended access, the client confirms that:
- JetStreamClean Limited is permitted to enter and carry out the agreed services in their absence.
- Access arrangements (keys, lockboxes, alarm codes, entry instructions) have been clearly communicated in writing prior to the appointment.
- The property is safe, secure and ready for cleaning.
- All valuables and personal items have been removed or appropriately secured.
Where keys are provided:
- Keys may be collected from an agreed location (such as an estate agent or key safe) as instructed by the client.
- Keys will be handled responsibly and used solely for the purpose of completing the agreed service.
- Keys will be returned in accordance with the agreed instructions following completion of the service.
JetStreamClean Limited will take reasonable care while on the premises and will secure the property upon departure in line with the client’s written instructions.
10. Professional Conduct
JetStreamClean Limited operates under strict professional standards.
All personnel and subcontractors engaged by JetStreamClean Limited are expected to conduct themselves in a lawful, respectful and professional manner while on client premises.
Staff are instructed to:
- Respect client property at all times
- Avoid handling personal belongings unless necessary for service delivery
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Follow documented operating procedures and safeguarding standards
JetStreamClean Limited maintains appropriate insurance coverage and internal service processes to ensure responsible service delivery.
11. Drying Times
Typical drying time is 4–8 hours depending on ventilation, humidity and carpet type. We recommend opening windows and using fans where possible to speed up the drying process.
12. Waste Water & Dry Soil Disposal
All waste water generated during the cleaning process is disposed of via appropriate foul sewer systems in accordance with environmental regulations. Under no circumstances is waste water discharged into surface drains or watercourses.
Dry soil and debris removed during vacuuming will be securely bagged and disposed of within the property’s general waste bin unless otherwise agreed in writing.
JetStreamClean Limited operates in accordance with responsible environmental practices.
13. Insurance & Liability
JetStreamClean Limited maintains comprehensive Public Liability and Treatment Risk Insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
Any issues or concerns must be reported within 24 hours of the service, in writing, to jetstreamcleaninfo@gmail.com.
14. Zero Tolerance Policy
We operate a zero tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour directed at our staff. Any such conduct will result in the immediate termination of the service. All charges for work completed or scheduled remain payable.
